Myles Nye is from California.

I'm going to write the rest of the "About" copy in first person. I was born in Oakland, went to UCLA's School of Theater Film and Television, and stayed in Los Angeles after I graduated in 2003. I have many interests and made this web site to give them all a shared space.

My full-time gig is Head Honcho of Wise Guys Events, purveyors of playful experiences for professionals. Our games make events more awesome. I play games all the time, and I create puzzles, challenges, and games for Survivor on CBS, Only Connect on BBC, and many others. I am an expert musical improvisor and have taught and performed improv across the USA and internationally. I’m also a tap dancer and a wedding officiant and I practice Iyengar yoga.

My wife Dr. Laurel and I got married in San Francisco in 2008 and we now live in Berkeley with our two songs, Fenton and Asher.
